Join the Intermountain Electrical Association for the Hogs for Humanity Charity Golf Tournament, a day of golf, community, and giving back.

This year’s Hogs for Humanity event has transitioned from a motorcycle ride to a charity golf tournament, bringing together members of Utah’s electrical community and friends to support Garrett “Stu” Stuart as he courageously battles Childhood T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL).

Whether you’re golfing, sponsoring the event, purchasing raffle tickets, or making a donation, every dollar raised will help ease the financial burden on Garrett and his family during his ongoing treatment.

Join us as we come together for a great day on the course while making a meaningful difference for a remarkable young man and his family.

Event Details:

• Date: Friday, September 18, 2026
• Location: Soldier Hollow Golf Course, Midway, Utah
• Format: Four-Person Scramble
• Shotgun Start: 8:00 AM

Registration Details:

$200 per golfer | $800 per foursome

Your registration includes:

• Entry into the four-person scramble
• The opportunity to support Garrett “Stu” Stuart and his family

Mulligans: $10 each
Raffle tickets: $10 each

Instead of holding several smaller raffles, we will have a few larger gifts donated. This approach allows more of the money raised through the event to directly support Garrett and his family.

Meet Garrett “Stu” Stuart

Garrett “Stu” Stuart is a rising junior at Corner Canyon High School, where he plays offensive line on the football team and competes in wrestling.

Following a successful football season, what initially appeared to be walking pneumonia became a life-changing diagnosis of Childhood T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL). Garrett received the devastating news while traveling with his family from Utah to Georgia to attend his aunt’s funeral after her battle with breast cancer.

Garrett was immediately admitted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where he spent 22 days receiving intensive treatment before beginning the long road ahead. At the same time, his family was also facing another unexpected challenge after his father lost his job and health insurance benefits.

Garrett’s treatment will continue for approximately 2½ years, bringing ongoing medical expenses, travel costs, and financial hardship.

Today, Garrett continues to fight with incredible strength and determination.

Through the Hogs for Humanity Charity Golf Tournament, we hope to ease some of the burden on his family so they can focus on what matters most, Garrett’s recovery.
